Juan Cuadrado was booed by some Inter fans when he made his debut at San Siro as a Nerazzurri player tonight.

The Colombian winger was introduced in the second half of Inter’s 2023-24 Serie A opener against Monza on Saturday night. As reported by journalist Giorgio Musso, the ex-Juventus star was booed by his new fans when he entered the pitch replacing Denzel Dumfries.

At the same time, Marko Arnautovic, another new summer signing, was applauded by the Stadio Meazza crowd.

Cuadrado’s move to Inter as a free agent caused outrage in the Nerazzurri side of Milano earlier this summer as the 35-year-old had spent several years at Juventus, causing controversy in many games against the Nerazzurri.

However, Inter ultras had partially pardoned him by unveiling a banner on the day of his medical in July.

Tonight’s game, won 2-0 by the Nerazzurri thanks to a Lautaro Martinez brace, was Cuadrado’s first game at San Siro as an Inter player.

The ex-Fiorentina and Juventus winger has signed a one-year deal at San Siro.
