Young promising Club Brugge, Noa Lang should not stay too long in the Belgian championship. Courted by several European clubs, the Dutch international has been performing well in the Pro League for several seasons. LOSC would have tried to recruit him last summer. In an interview given to From Telegraaf, the 23-year-old left winger revealed that a Ligue 1 club wanted him during the last summer transfer window. The latter, however, did not reveal the name.
“You have to refer to the interest there was in me last summer. I felt like I was ready for the next step and I still am. Only two weeks before the transfer market closed, I tore my ankle ligaments. I could have joined a Ligue 1 club, but I didn’t like it. I wanted to go to the World Cup and I thought Club Brugge had the best chance of getting there. I am under contract until the summer of 2025, but I would like to make a change that is good for Club Brugge and me. It will be a good thing, because I really learned a lot last season, partly thanks to the World Cup. »
